LTV
LTV (customer lifetime value) is the total revenue — sometimes profit — an average customer produces across all their orders. It sets the ceiling on what a store can pay to acquire a customer: if LTV is $120 and acquisition costs $60, the model works. Email, subscriptions, and retention apps are all LTV levers; analytics tools estimate it from order history.
