Headless Commerce
Headless commerce splits the storefront (the "head") from the commerce engine: the platform still handles products, carts, and checkout, while a custom front end renders the site. It buys performance and design freedom at the cost of developer dependence — most app-store apps assume a standard theme, so a headless build changes which tools you can use. For most small and mid-size stores, a good theme plus a page builder gets 90% of the benefit.
