3PL

A 3PL (third-party logistics provider) warehouses a store’s own inventory and picks, packs, and ships each order for a fee. It is the usual next step after self-fulfillment outgrows the garage but before running a warehouse makes sense. Unlike dropshipping, the store owns the stock; the 3PL just operates the logistics.
